Proper Connection and Installation

The connection and installation of the SDR transceiver are the sole responsibility of the user. It is crucial that all connections are made by the user in accordance with industry standards and best practices to ensure the safety and proper functionality of the equipment.

Liability

Olliter SAgl shall not be held liable for any damages resulting from the improper use or incorrect installation of the SDR transceiver, whether such damages occur to the user or any third parties. This includes, but is not limited to, physical damage to the equipment, loss of data, or any other consequential damages.

Warranty and Damage

In the event of equipment damage, if it is determined that the cause of damage was improper use or incorrect connection by the user, Olliter SAgl will not honor any warranty claims. Users are strongly encouraged to follow all usage instructions and safety guidelines to prevent voiding the warranty.

Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Precautions

Users must take appropriate precautions to protect the SDR transceiver from electrostatic discharge (ESD). Failure to implement ESD protection measures can result in permanent damage to the device. ESD precautions include, but are not limited to, using an ESD wrist strap when handling connectors or any interface of the device, properly grounding all equipment, and working on an ESD-safe surface.

Safety and Compliance

Users must ensure that their use of the SDR transceiver complies with all local laws and regulations. This includes adhering to frequency allocation rules, power output restrictions, and any other regulatory requirements pertaining to the operation of amateur radio equipment.
